Trophy Hunts
$6, 500 AUD per hunter
Experience a fully guided, all-inclusive chital deer hunt in the heart of northern Queensland.
We offer both bowhunting and rifle hunting packages.
We operate exclusively as spot and stalk / walk n stalk, hunting on foot from first light through to last light.
There are no vehicle based hunts.
No driving around in a buggy or side by side.
Every opportunity is earned in the field.
Our property holds strong numbers of mature chital stags, with representative trophies regularly exceeding 27 inches, and the occasional stag pushing beyond the coveted 30 inch mark.
We do not measure a hunts success in inches.
Rather, by the quality of the overall hunt, close encounters with the animals we pursue and upholding fair chase conditions.

Additional guide to hunter ratios and group hunts can be arranged upon request.
Extra hunting days can also be added for $1,000 AUD per hunter, per day.
Non-Hunters & Guests
Partners, children and non-hunters are welcome to join the experience.
A rate of $500 AUD per person, per day applies.
Guests should be considered carefully when booking, as additional people in the field can impact the success of a walk-and-stalk hunt.
Meat / Beginner Hunts
$4,000 AUD per hunter
Our guided meat hunts are designed for hunters of all experience levels.
Whether you're brand new to hunting and picking up a bow or rifle for the first time.
Or have hunted previously and simply looking to to refine your existing skills, hunting a new species in a new destination.
Experience authentic, close quarter chital hunting in North Queensland, under ethical and fair chase hunting practices at the forefront.
Our meat hunts offer a hands on environment to up skill in the field under the tutelage of a guide with decades of experience.
These hunts are about more than the harvest.
The primary goal is simple: the opportunity to responsibly harvest your own wild, free range meat.

Hunting plays an important role in managing chital deer populations across privately managed properties.
By participating in a guided meat hunt, you're contributing to responsible wildlife management while gaining a direct connection to where your food comes from.
The meat harvested becomes the ultimate reward!
Providing a sustainable source of wild protein to enjoy around camp and take home after the hunt.
Through hunting and providing a worth on the chital deer as a resource, we push back on other eradication strategies such as blanket helicopter culling or spotlighting, where the meat is wasted and the animals under utilised.
The Hunt
2-day guided meat hunt

If you're travelling alone, don't worry you will be paired with another like minded hunter.

Meat & Trophy Preparation
The experience doesn't end with the harvest.
All meat and trophy preparation is carried out immediately after an animal is taken, with a dedicated cool room and freezer facilities available on the property.
Hunters are encouraged to take their harvest home to share with family and friends. Our team can butcher, mince and vacuum-seal meat, preparing it for transport and storage.
If you would like to take meat home, please let your guide know before your hunt begins.
A 20L insulated styrofoam box can be provided, with your meat professionally prepared and packed for the journey home.
Taxidermy & Trophy Care
If you plan to have your chital mounted by your preferred taxidermist, we can prepare your trophies during the hunt.
Skins and capes are salted, while skulls are cleaned and prepared before you leave the property, ready to be passed on to your taxidermist.
If airline baggage restrictions prevent you from travelling with skulls or capes, courier transport can be arranged separately.
Preparation and postage costs will be charged to the hunter.
Feral pigs and dingoes are included in the hunting package at no additional harvest cost.
If you would like trophy preparation for these animals, a $250 preparation fee per animal applies.
Meals & Accommodation
Chital Camp
Our accommodation is located alongside the property’s homestead.
Facilities are humble but cosy, with amenities such as electricity, refrigeration, freezers and a cool room.
Located in the heart of chital country, evenings at the homestead often come with the unmistakable sound of stags bellowing in the distance.
After a long day in the field, settle in for a hot cooked meal, a cold non-alcoholic drink and some well-earned downtime.
Individual donga styled (small room with bunk bed + ensuite) accommodation is provided for each person.
Along with all linen, bedding, towels and pillows.
Hunters are welcome to bring their own bedding / pillows if preferred.
After a long day hunting, hot and cold showers and air-conditioned facilities provide a comfortable place to unwind and recharge for the next morning.
Food & Drinks
All meals and non-alcoholic drinks are included while staying on the hunting concession.
Expect dinners such as a steak, chips and salad, bolognese, chicken stir fry, burgers and chips, etc.
Please advise us of any food allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements when booking your hunt so we can accommodate them wherever possible
Not Included In The Packages
Our trophy and meat hunts do not include:
Airfares
Accommodation outside the hunting property
Alcoholic beverages
Meals before arrival or after departure
Taxidermy
Packaging and shipping of trophy parts
Rifle Hire
Rifles can be hired for $500 AUD for the duration of the hunt.
We recommend a minimum calibre of .270 for the ethical harvest of chital deer, which can reach approximately 80kg live weight.
Available calibres vary, so please enquire when booking.
Hunters hiring a rifle are responsible for purchasing their own ammunition, and all rifles must be sighted in and checked before hunting.
All hunters must hold the appropriate Australian or International firearms licence and permits.
They must also comply with all applicable Queensland and Australian firearms and hunting regulations.

Additional chital deer may be available to add onto your existing package.
This option is available at the discretion of your guide.
This decision is based off factors including herd health, environmental conditions, upcoming hunts and overall management considerations.

A Note on Gear
You don't need to overpack. The goal is to bring what you need, not everything you own.
Your guide will provide guidance on the specific equipment required for your hunt based on the season, hunting method and expected conditions.
Capture Your Hunt
Photography & Film
Your hunt is a story worth remembering.
Our guides are experienced outdoor photographers and filmmakers, capable of capturing high-quality photography and cinematic footage throughout your time in the field.
Media packages can be arranged prior to your hunt, starting from $500 AUD, with final pricing dependent on the scope of the project and editing required.
Your guide will carry the necessary camera equipment while hunting, capturing the experience without taking focus away from the primary objective — getting you onto a trophy animal.
Media Packages
Our team has experience producing commercial outdoor media and can capture everything from the anticipation and preparation to the final stalk and harvest.
If you would like to own the raw photography and video captured during your hunt, this can also be arranged. Raw files can be supplied on a hard drive at the hunter's expense, in addition to the media package fee.
Media Usage
All photography and video captured by Spotted Safaris during your hunt remains the copyright and property of Spotted Safaris.
Permission must be obtained prior to publicly distributing, publishing or sharing captured media, including on social media platforms.

Deposits & Booking
Securing Your Hunt
A deposit is required to secure your preferred hunting dates and confirm your booking.
Once the deposit has been received, your dates are locked in and we can begin coordinating the details of your trip, including flights and logistics.
Deposits are invoiced and payable via bank transfer.
Trophy Hunt Deposit — $3,000 AUD
Meat Hunt Deposit — $2,000 AUD
Cancellation Policy
Deposits are partially refundable, subject to the timing of your cancellation.
More than 60 days before departure: 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
Within 60 days of departure: Deposit is non-refundable.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against potential losses associated with flight cancellations, travel disruptions or other unforeseen circumstances.
